The author lives with her husband John in North Nottinghamshire
with two dogs, two ponies, two cats and 13 Pekin hens. She has
always loved walking her dogs, driving her ponies and living in the
country.
Her father invented stories about a magic pig for her and her sister.
She then invented new stories about Whizzy and his adventures for
her children, then grandchildren and now they have been written
down for all children to enjoy.
