Art Competition
We recently launched a writing competition for paranormal/supernatural short stories, for a compilation Halloween book to be published this October.
We now need a striking cover for this.
We want to to keep the brief as simple as possible because we really want artists to let their imaginations run away with them.
The book will be aimed at YA or older, so it can be nice and dark, if that is your style - ideally we don't want anything 'too young'.
All you need to do is design a great image for the front cover and we will do the rest!
The closing date is 14th September 2025
The prize will be to have your work featured on the book, of course, along with a credit within the book, and we will add your bio to the book, and to our website. We may also choose to work with you again, on a paid basis, depending on your style and flexibility.

We will announce the winner, and the design, in October 2025 on social media. We will notify the winner beforehand. Unsuccessful artwork will NOT be used by us without the permission of the artist.
By submitting your art work, you confirm that you are aware that this is a competition, and no payment will be made for the work.
We usually publish around 20 books a year, so this is also a great opportunity for future work, but we cannot guarantee this.
